COUNCIL OFFICIAL 'LIED UNDER OATH' ABOUT CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

A report by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual abuse has branded Richard Farnell, a council leader for Rochdale, a 'liar' and victims have said he was 'trying to save his own skin' and should 'hang his head in shame'. Young lives were blighted on his watch, yet his concern was to shamefully set out to dodge responsibility and show 'no respect for those that had been abused'. The council staff failed in ' their most basic duty of care towards children'.
