SHAME ON THE POLICE, CPS, COURT, MEDIA AND PUBLIC FOR DRIVING CAROLINE FLACK TO SUICIDE

Caroline Flack would be alive today if the police and the Crown Prosecution Service hadn't showcased the difficulties that had arisen, no doubt transiently, within her personal relationship. Opportunistically riding on her celebrity status, the police leaked information about the case, the CPS and court crashed around the vulnerable interface between her and Lewis Burton like a bull in a china shop, the media vultures had a feeding frenzy and internet trolls disgorged all their vitriol upon her. Instead of facilitating the desire of Burton and Flack to be reconciled and restored, the CPS pressed charges and the court inhumanely, insensitively and crassly imposed the bail condition consigning Flack into an enforced solitude, at the very time she needed so acutely to communicate with Burton. Of course this modern day tragedy is set within a context of Love Island that promotes artificiality, pretence, surgically enhanced 'beauty' and the allurement and curse of fame, that like the Midas touch leads so often to despair, isolation and continual torment. People are essentially fragile, hiding their insecurities behind whatever front is available. Members of the police, courts, media and public must all hang their heads in shame and sorrow for the part they played in bringing about Caroline's heartache and suicide.

Please spread the message to every young wannabee that fame is a curse to be avoided at all costs. The most beautiful part of life is anonymity and normality. Nothing compares to the innocent wonder of those two basic things. We are all so intricately fragile. Very few can cope happily with fame and the vicious exposure that results.
