Finally, a ruling from the courts that resists the tide of censorship and gagging and halts the police in their harassment and intimidation of the brave who speak out rationally on issues of major importance. Enough of the police's hateful tactics of early morning and work place visits or arrests for free speakers, free writers and free thinkers, upon which the freedom and democracy of our country depends. Enough of the police interrogations and threats of 'Non Crime Hate Incident' reports befouling the Enhanced Police Records of the innocent, all hidden from the public eye, as a means to bully, silence and stifle the flow of information and the intellectual engagement over vexing issues.
The law is being shown to be an ass, its enforcers, confused and humiliated and the innocent, harassed and criminalised. There must be clarity for the public about what is permissible in public discourse and the dissemination of information. At present, in the confluence of legislation, any communicator can find themselves at the mercy of the resultin capricious approach to freedom of speech.

THE SECOND, IN 2016 WHEN I WROTE ON MY BLOG, TO ALERT THE PUBLIC ABOUT A PAEDOPHILE, AND WAS SUCCESSFUL IN FORCING THE AUTHORITIES TO STOP HIM HAVING ACCESS TO CHILDREN. THERE WAS ALMOST A THIRD! IN 1997, WHEN I WAS ARRESTED FOR NAILING MY PROPOSALS FOR REFORM OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ON THE DOOR OF CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. WORDS ARE POWERFUL MESSAGES THAT CHALLENGE CORRUPTION, CONFRONT THE WICKED AND CREATE A BETTER WORLD. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE CALLED TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORDS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE COST.
