BISHOP RACHEL TREWEEK TALKS FURTHER ANGLICAN NONSENSE A WEEK AFTER BISHOP ROD THOMAS

It is an oft stated but meaningless dogma to claim that "the only place where there is really unconditional love is in God", particularly when the Church's teaching on hell and gay marriage indicates the opposite.  Bishop Treweek states the psychosis that underlies these fantasies. The inability to reconcile and escape from guilt and shame. Positing resolution and perfection beyond what is known is a dishonest and unhelpful narrative. Guilt and shame are not signed off by an imagined entity, but are hard won through the courage to apologise, conciliate and to make reparation. Unconditional love, both in gift and receipt, is a rare but wonderful grace, found, like a rare orchid, upon the dusty paths of existence, to be cherished. It seems that Bishop Treweek and Bishop Thomas both need to learn more about life and spend less time deity dreaming.

IN 1997, WHEN I WAS ARRESTED FOR NAILING MY PROPOSALS FOR REFORM OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ON THE DOOR OF CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. WORDS ARE POWERFUL MESSAGES THAT CHALLENGE  CORRUPTION, CONFRONT THE WICKED AND CREATE A BETTER WORLD. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE CALLED  TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORDS,  IRRESPECTIVE OF THE COST.
