Is this the stuff to bring down ministers, even Governments or is it the cheeky banter often shared among colleagues, in a spirit of mutual riposte?
Of course there may be more revelations, it may have been part of a pattern of invasive, harassment but at this stage not much else is known.
Except, that in Westminster at the moment, we seem to have slipped into the farce of petty disclosures about pretty standard human mating behaviour.
It is important, that we keep a clear distinction between such and abuse. If not, abusers will escape detection in the welter of trivia and natural human encounters will be criminalised.
