THE DEATH OF AMANDA KNOX

As well as her tragically murdered flat mate, Meredith Kercher, Amanda Knox also died that night. The young, bright eyed, eager student, who had overlooked not only the Umbrian valleys from her hilltop idyll, but a life of promise and opportunity. All of that was cruelly snatched away in the hours of dim, delivering her into a never ending nightmare that pivots on November 1st. Two murderers have never been apprehended. The first, arrogance. Those inflated prosecutors who preferred their own hunches to facts. The second, marijuana. That deadly smoke, that meant crystal clear recollections were illusive, leaving the innocents vulnerable to exploitation. They remain at large, a threat to us all, but especially the naive. May the family of Meredith Kercher and may Amanda Knox and her family find their peace.
