THE POLICE MUST FINALLY LEARN THE LESSON THAT VIOLENCE BREEDS VIOLENCE

Rashan Charles died unnecessarily after police officers chose to use force against him. If the police were instructed to adopt different non violent policies in such situations, both they and the public will be safer, policing will be easier and social unrest will be avoided.
The Royal College of  Policing must attend to the use of violence by officers as a matter of urgency.
