THE POLICE HANDCUFF A 10 YEAR OLD AND HOOD MANY ADULTS

When, as an Independent Custody Visitor, I found I could do nothing, as an ICV, to stop the abuse of children in custody, I reported the local police station to the media, after having found a child, traumatised, in an adult police cell, which is against PACE regulations.
So now they are even handcuffing children as young as 10.
Body cams must be worn at all times by the police and all violence outlawed, other than in extremis.
The regular use of spit hoods is a further sign that the police's use of violence, instead of alternative methods of restraint and crisis calming, provokes dangerous levels of conflict and distress.
