FIRST OFFICIAL ADMISSION THAT THE GRENFELL DEATH TOLL MAY BE MUCH HIGHER AND NEVER KNOWN

The rich of Kensington and Chelsea Council knew that the rabbit box flats at Grenfell were bulging beyond the seams and yet cladding it with Hydrogen Cyanide emitting panels and charging £2000 a month rent were all a means of appeasing local protest. It looked better and was a cash cow.
That the poorest, the war and poverty fleeing migrants and those at the edges of life and luck faced immense danger was of little consequence it seemed.
