THE LGA ONLY NUDGES THE TERM TIME HOLIDAY SCANDAL

The LGA is only looking after its own and its proposals do not go far enough. Parents should unite and call for national days of action, when they withhold their children from school in protest until the previous 10 day in term holiday allowance is restored. The State must not be allowed to usurp family holidays, children's happiness and their educational and recreational travel experiences.
