NO MORE BIGOTRY MELANIE PHILLIPS

 Melanie Phillips wants us to pander again to the entrenched bigotry of the religious and the small town old world judgmentalism. Yes, we need to resist the narrow mindedness of those who want to prescribe how others should live and who claim they know what is 'normal'. Yes children from birth should grow up in our society and our schools where heterosexual and homosexual relationships are common place and regarded equally. Yes we need to ensure that Muslims and Christians have no opportunity to try and radicalise our young into discriminatory models of thinking. The centre ground in UK society today, as an exemplar for the world, is a secular provision and protection for the human rights of all to be respected.
