BEWARE FARAGE
Europe lurches awkwardly towards a right wing agenda.
In the UK and across the Euro-zone enlightened inclusive thinking is being met with a resurgent prejudiced and blinkered old world view.
Woe to the world when the 'respectable' village folk who attend their parish church and represent 'Archers' community begin to mount a fight back against the international, urbanised, anonymous and mutually respectful living of our modern age. Woe to the world when the BNP and the shaved head brigade find common cause with the G and T toting tweedies.
Behind the smiling beer raising visage of Farage lies the protectionist, us-them attitudes that fragment, polarise and destroy social cohesion. They offer a world view where the rich, advantaged and included prosper and the rest languish beyond the walls.
A world view that fuels inequality and injustice and underpins the arms race where the powerful develop ever more sophisticated methods of 'taking out' those who protest.
The great and the mighty play their drone games dismembering a child here and a pregnant mother there before breaking for a latte. No thought even for the fact that the child had no school to go to and the pregnant mother no clinic, nor any of even the most basic infrastructure we take for granted, before our metal winged eagles hover and destroy even what little they have.
If our missiles don't destroy them, or rampant disease, or poverty fuelled terrorism, or torture, or illegal detention in inhuman prison camps, then at least they will drown in their paper boats dipping the waves bidding for freedom or be pumped full of our aids infected semen in Soho or Las Vegas, or be caught young and trafficked as children servicing World Cup sex seekers in Brazil or lost in the paedophile webs of the Western world, or be burnt alive down mines, or be imprisoned as slave labour picking the fruit and vegetables we eat or wiping the babies and senile bottoms of our bloated land.
What is sick, is that it seems, the immigrant communities that have gained a foothold or have even blended entirely into the mainstream are vocal supporters of shut the door policies. It's a united cry. No more blackies, brownies, yellowies, and no more Eastern Europeanies - well no, that's not quite the cry - so let's refine - no more anyone's that are poor.
If you are rich, powerful, advantaged and come with bank vaults of lucre, then it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from or what colour is your skin. It matters not how filthy your money be, or how many you have trodden on, not even how many you have murdered ( as long as no one can pin anything on you ). The doors are flung open - open wide - dine with Farage, buy football clubs, take tea with the Queen, luxuriate in the finest hotels, bed whoever you wish, take all the places at our private schools, buy all of London, lie in every bed our private hospitals can offer, our land is an Aladdin's cave just waiting to be plundered.
Europe has thus far saved the UK from our little island discriminatory views.
