CHILDREN NEED PHYSICAL AFFECTION

The PC brigade would extract the physical demonstration of love and affection from family life and social relations. It would damn children to a world of isolation and a craving for human contact.

  Foster carers are taught not to hug or kiss foster children, when often they long to be held. 

 Often this leaves the young vulnerable to inappropriate early sexual activity as they look to connect with another human being.

 Inappropriate contact is wrong and we must be responsible to ensure that we never invade another's personal space against their will.

 However in seeking to isolate the abusers we should not deprive the world of the beautiful, life affirming experience of receiving proper physical affection.
