BEWARE PSEUDO 'SPIRITUAL' COMMUNITIES

Beware pseudo religious groups that pretend they are 'open' spiritual communities and who lure the vulnerable into membership and involvement. Please, like Jesus, find them and overturn their tables and reveal their deceptive trades. The world is ravaged, scarred and maimed by those who claim religion to be their guide and their solace yet who visit suicide vests, knee cappings and violent ends on others.

Enter their hallowed realms and begin to ask searching questions, prod and poke their sweet language and tidy posts and soon their real nature will be revealed. It won't take long before they clutch one another and claim that God wants their leaders, elders or administrators to censor you, block you, imprison you, torture you or even summarily execute you.

They are afraid of true words, new ideas and challenges to their smug self serving posts. they want to live in an artificial world of God talk, fantasies and magic and are incapable of grappling with the blood, sweat, pain and tears of those languishing as a result of their games.

Let Jesus's words find them out  -  "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you compass sea and land to make one convert and then you make him or her twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Woe to you, you blind guides. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:  You blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. You blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like to white washed sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our forebears, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Why you be witnesses to yourselves, that you are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill you up then the measure of your forebears. You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?"

And expect them, when they have heard them, to say but that doesn't apply to us....and surely Jesus didn't say such nasty unloving things....perhaps he had a problem, perhaps he was raging, perhaps he was unbalanced, perhaps we ought to censor him, block him, remove him, torture him.....even execute him.....

And so the insanity goes on.
