LOVE ISLAND EXPOSES THE DUPLICITY WITHIN
Eyal deludes himself and tries to convince others that he is perfect and the fault always lies elsewhere, while shafting Alex with a predatory kiss stolen from Megan but claiming he would never get in Alex's way should he want to come on to Megan. He presents as utterly disingenuous. Charlie at least tried to resist Eyal's petulant scolding of the boys, but in the end he too capitulated in the face of his hissy fit.
Alex, strangely for an A and E doctor, appears not to handle pressure too well. Eyal needs his comeuppance and Alex was well placed to provide it, but he too buckled in the end, submitting to Eyal's power grab and his taking of Megan hostage.
Laura has enticed an unsuspecting Wes artfully into her web, with all the guile, self assurance and strategy of an older woman, with no intention of continuing a serious relationship with him. It is pitiful watching him tumble into her trap,wreathed in smiles and soft incentives.
Hayley is a woman, from whom a man would, with any sense, run a mile, as she reels them in and spits them out.
Adam is a softly spoken snake, able to slither his way from one woman to another, always with the sweetest explanations and justifications.
Rosie, despite knowing Adam betrayed her, has regrettably succumbed again to his wiles.
It is a fascinating, revealing and uncomfortable real life soap opera, in which humanity doesn't come off too well.
