We are bereft of a moral media.
I and countless others have experienced the same tactics Jason refers to from a money driven, amoral media, that count ratings above truth, clicks above accuracy and profit above proper investigative journalism.
Racism. Sexism and every other 'ism' is apparently condemned but practically fuelled, superficially judged but effectively encouraged, censured and criticised but actually spawned and nurtured. The media mice are busy undermining everything that our enlightened society is meant to stand for, while all the time presenting themselves as the champions of political correctness, educationally informed and modern in every positive way.
If only the public knew the half - but of course they don't - not even a tenth, because so much is hidden from them, either by guile or by bribes, hobnobbing, criminal persuasion, gagging orders, injunctions and a host of covert methods to ensure their dark world remains cloaked in secrecy, while the coffers roll in.
And we, the everyday, ordinary citizens, whose words are warped, whose actions are misrepresented, whose opinions are traduced and whose truths are buried under their false verbiage, are the victims.
