DEMON GODS

There is not one person on this earth that can be sure that God exists, not if they are being honest, objective, factual and real. They can pretend, lie, fantasise and collude with others in a pseudo scientific language of certainties. It will not assist their mental health or their emotional maturity, but they are free to do so. Just as they are free to concoct demon Gods that authorise beheadings and suicide bombings and the sending of a son to be crucified. So no one can be sure that 'God' exists. Some may choose to believe s/he exists - but they must do so in the honest tension that unless their beliefs enable them to become a good and better human being, they are an obstacle to their development and a threat to others. What I am sure of, is that LOVE exists and so much that is spoken about God, described about God and done in God's name, just as so much about those who claim to believe in God amounts to the very antithesis of LOVE.
