PROSECUTING GRONING EXPOSES OUR PERFIDY

 How many other Gronings have been allowed to slip into obscurity and live their lives as 'ordinary' citizens bearing such vile secrets? Just as we were complicit with the holocaust outrage at the time, we have remained so ever since, harbouring war criminals, retaining stolen Jewish art treasures, profiting from raided bank accounts. We point the finger dishonestly. The rich world continues to revert to Hitler's 'Final Solution' whenever 'necessary'. Now, it is to rid the world of ISIS, before the Taliban,  Gaddafi, Saddam etc. The powerful write history and interpret events in their favour. Getting round to prosecuting an Auschwitz guard at 93 is an embarrassing expose of our perfidy.
