BLACK MAN IN CUSTODY IN BEXLEY - NO 2

Black Man: I haven't drunk anything since I was arrested.

Archbishop Blake: But that was yesterday?

Black Man: I won't drink what they give me. They may have spat in it.

Archbishop Blake to Custody Police Officer: The detainee says he hasn't drunk anything since yesterday?

Custody Police Officer: ( With a sarcastic smile ) Oh dear. Trouble is, he won't drink what we offer him.

Archbishop Blake: Well. It is his entitlement to have access to a wash basin and then he can drink for himself directly from the tap.

Custody Police Officer: But why would we allow that.......
