WHISTLE BLOWERS NEED PROTECTION

After consistent breaches of the PACE regulations and numerous disturbing incidents, that I witnessed while carrying out my duties as an Independent Custody Visitor (ICV) for the Bexley ICV panel,  I blew the whistle finally when I found  an eleven year old locked up in an adult cell in Bexley Custody Suite. Imprisoning an eleven year old in such a manner is a breach, although the police and The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) 'get round' the relevant regulation by citing shortage of appropriate facilities and staffing levels. MOPAC's response to my blowing the whistle, instead of acting to protect children in custody, was to axe me from the panel.
