A ZERO TOLERANCE OF VIOLENCE

 TV story lines showing relationship violence have the effect of sanctioning it as an available option to impressionable viewers. 

 Violence is also role modelled by the police in their quick and often unnecessary use of restraint techniques, including their automatic handcuffing on arrest.

  Add to this our involvement in conflicts around the globe and images of violence are all too readily available. 

 We need to move towards a zero tolerance of violence.
