PRAISE TO PAYZEE MAHMOD FOR HER BRAVE CAMPAIGN TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM ABUSE

 Child 'marriage' is now banned by law in England and Wales thanks to this outstanding woman, who refused to be crushed by her own suffering and the horrific abuse and murder of her sister, and who campaigned to achieve protection for our children from those who would abuse them. Now children are a little safer. The one further step that must be taken to ensure their safety, is that it must become illegal for an adult (someone aged 18 and over) to have sex with a child (someone under 18). At the moment an adult of any age, 40, 50, 60 etc can have sex with a 16 year old child. At the moment an adult of any profession, teacher, doctor, priest, nurse, counsellor, social worker, police officer can have sex with a 16 year old child, (as long as they are not professionally responsible for them or involved with them). This is child abuse and must be made illegal. Congratulations to Payzee Mahmod and thanks to her for her wonderful work and achievement. Let us hope someone now leads a campaign to keep adults away sexually from our children, so that they can truly and safely enjoy an innocent childhood.

I AM PROUD OF MY WRITING, FOR JESUS’S SAKE, THAT HAS HAD ME FOUND INNOCENT IN HEAVEN, BUT TWICE A CRIMINAL ON THE EARTH. THE FIRST IN 1990 WHEN I WROTE A BIBLICAL TEXT ON THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT IN PEACEFUL PROTEST ABOUT THE BOMBING OF YOUNG IRAQI RECRUITS DURING THE FIRST GULF WAR. THE SECOND, IN 2016 WHEN I WROTE ON MY BLOG, TO ALERT THE PUBLIC ABOUT A PAEDOPHILE, AND WAS SUCCESSFUL IN FORCING THE AUTHORITIES TO STOP HIM HAVING ACCESS TO CHILDREN. THERE WAS ALMOST A THIRD! IN 1997, WHEN I WAS ARRESTED FOR NAILING MY PROPOSALS FOR REFORM OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ON THE DOOR OF CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. WORDS ARE POWERFUL MESSAGES THAT CHALLENGE  CORRUPTION, CONFRONT THE WICKED AND CREATE A BETTER WORLD. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE CALLED  TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORDS,  IRRESPECTIVE OF THE COST.
