SINGLE GENDER FACILITIES MUST BE SCRAPPED

In an age that is slowly recognising that two boxes for gender, or even 3,4,5 etc are insufficient, we must scrap single gender facilities. The government is adopting a reactionary position, in these plans to  defend women's rights, to exclude transgender people from female-only areas. The nonsense is illustrated in that if men are excluded, why are lesbians welcome? Equally, why are gay men permitted in male facilities? Instead of becoming log jammed, contradictory and confused about these matters and causing considerable offence, it would be preferable to have change facilities, providing individual privacy, with no such artificial and crude distinctions. It is regressive and ironic, in an age of equality, when male only bastions of segregation have been forced to adopt open door and membership policies, for women to be closing theirs.

IN 1997, WHEN I WAS ARRESTED FOR NAILING MY PROPOSALS FOR REFORM OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ON THE DOOR OF CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. WORDS ARE POWERFUL MESSAGES THAT CHALLENGE  CORRUPTION, CONFRONT THE WICKED AND CREATE A BETTER WORLD. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE CALLED  TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORDS,  IRRESPECTIVE OF THE COST.
