I AM TIRED OF THESE HOLLOW APOLOGIES

The insincerity of May's apology undermines the credibility of public life, where inhumane decisions are routinely applied in the shadows, callously and systematically, only to be halted if a juxtaposition of events can provide the catalyst to expose them. It was May's declared approach as Home Secretary that fuelled the shameful Windrush scandal and her reply to Corbyn's Question Time raising of the issue, indicated the same steely disregard for what was taking place. Replace the humbug with the assurance that the Windrush victims will be given British Citizenship forthwith.
