OXFAM'S SHAME DEEPENS

This adult complicity with paedophilia, prostitution and the sexual abuse of women is systemic and comprehensive. Its pervasive nature is not realised because of the lack of investigators and the protective mechanisms institutions practice to conceal its existence. There is a pernicious empathy that feeds it, illustrated in the comments, "I'm not judging..", and "he has a desire that seemingly needs to be filled". There is a bitter and sickening irony in Oxfam's code of conduct only now being altered to ban payments for sex. New legislation must criminalise complicity with and the concealment of sexual abuse.
