THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS

Of course there should be severe sentences for those who terrorise through physical or sexual abuse. So too for those who entrap and control their partners or others in a clearly damaging manner. However such legislation will immediately be misapplied by doltish officials, to wreak havoc within the natural strains, stresses and scenarios, experienced within family life, since time immemorial. The courts are increasingly becoming an EastEnders set for the latest domestic spats, within which it is well night impossible to establish reliable evidence and that would often resolve themselves if left alone. At this rate, it will become too dangerous to partner and have a family without CCTV running all the time, to protect each member of the family from accusation and counter accusation, should their idyll disintegrate.
