THE SALBUTAMOL SCAM?

Froome, the "arch villain" has been jeered, insulted, booed and even doused with urine. There is a nasty, even sinister side to cycling that has robbed the sport of its glamour. It has been dogged by scandal, not least Armstrong's shocking confessions. Personally, I find the whole "legitimate medical condition" antics, a tale too far. Finding out that Wiggins used triamcinolone acetate, and Froome salbutamol overstretches my credulity. I think all the cyclists would appreciate a little help opening their airways on the tight chested alpine climbs as well as some help with inflammation, redness and swelling. I am sure Team Sky have all their justifications prepared; it may well be, however, that few are minded to listen.
