MAY THE WORKERS RISE UP AND SUE THEIR OPPRESSORS

So many people are subjected to degrading and exploitative working conditions and payment in this country. Let them follow the example of Elvira Macato and hold their employers to account. Gone must be the days when the powerful can squeeze other human beings like their morning orange juice and gulp their lives down without so much as even a realisation that they are human also. I remember asking a family once, where their housekeeper came from, "Oh we don't know" they responded, as though the thought that she was a person with a life beyond their needs was utterly foreign to them.
