THE QUEEN'S "LIMITED INTELLIGENCE"

Such a comment is as offensive and subjective as remarking pejoratively on the size of someone's nose or the shape of their eyes. There is an elitist snobbery that touts comments about intelligence, as though there is a certain vantage point from which such assessments can me made in whispers behind muffled laughs. In reality, intelligence is an illusive concept, manifesting itself variously and clearly not overly in Peter Morgan's insulting asides.
