ST OLAVE AND KENT'S APARTHEID SHAME
Parents attend the open evenings where the school waxes eloquent about their pastoral policies, care and nurture of the children, but they fail to mention the fact that the children are being judged all the time on their performance, upon which their survival at the school depends.
St Olave's gross example of this has been exposed, disposing of under performers, even mid A level course.
They have been shamed into backing down, however, the same divisive polices remain prevalent.
Pupils at the local grammar were biting their nails, less about their GCSE results, and more about whether they would be sent the infamous pink letter inviting them back to the school.
All forms of apartheid are counter productive for the societies that practice them and should cease.
