It is a stark and sobering symbol of the collusion that leads to distorted consumption. An individual who managed to establish a network of unending provision that saw her flown around the world consuming the best of everything and expanding exponentially throughout.
She passed by the staggering, emaciated street children, covered in Egypt's dust and decay and their bellies distended by malnutrition, their eyes failing through disease and still she wanted more, only more. A whirlpool of desire that could never be satiated.
