DEAR CHIEF CONSTABLE VAUGHAN - I REPORTED A PAEDOPHILE FOR 5 YEARS AND WAS GAGGED!
The police's failure to take a witness seriously or to investigate properly or to put children's safety first, allowed Ian Watkins to continue his terrible abuse of children.
A genuine witness, presenting accurate evidence, setting out to trap the paedophile, was branded by the police as acting maliciously and so her vital evidence was dismissed.
And guess what?
After four years of IPCC investigation, not one police officer or any other official will be held to account, will receive a sanction or will bear a consequence.
The state, the police and the authorities that collude with child abuse walk free, stand tall and pretend they have acted properly, when in fact, their covering of each other's backs is inexcusable.
Assistant Chief Constable Jeremy Vaughan said:
'I know it is difficult taking that first step in reporting child abuse and that people coming forward need support but we urge anyone with concerns about a child or young person to get in touch with us immediately.'

I stepped forward in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 to report a paedophile to the authorities and to the police. Instead of being believed, I was gagged. When I refused to be silenced, and continued to write to expose the paedophile, I was convicted for breaking the gagging order.
BUT!!!!
My writing was successful and the paedophile is now barred from working with children.
So Assistant Chief Constable Vaughan and the IPCC, your words, I am afraid, are empty, inaccurate and so continue to endanger the victims of child sexual abuse and those who are brave enough to try to protect them.
