Fashion, image and style drives the rich world's culture and economy, as well as messing up the heads of its young.

The worship of appearance over inner qualities is slowly stripping society of its moral strength and noble ideals.

Parents opining to the kids, that character matters more than clothes and personality more than looks are met with scorn.

Advertisers and retailers cultivate our obsession with the superficial. It is their ploy to guard their revenue. The ultimate price paid though is too high.

Lives, marriages, relationships and societies based on appearance become malignant and flounder.
