BARONESS HALE POINTS US TO IMBECILIC RELIGION

 A tired old world view that if you treat people like imbeciles and require them to wear a uniform and inflict punitive rituals on themselves they will jump at the joy of being given an artificial identity instead of finding their own. Gimmick church captures the searching young for a while, but they soon see through its sales pitch and empty message and move on. Human Rights legislation needs to be used to protect the majority from the violence, prejudice and manipulation of religious people.
