Developed complex society is on close inspection such a mess of tangled inconsistencies and hypocrisies.
We were born naked.
The hijab is meant to preserve modesty and protect a person from sexual advances.
However, what is clear from anyone who has visited a naturist beach or watched the naked rambler, is that nudity removes sexual attraction.
It is the act of covering and concealing that ignites interest and triggers fantasies.
The hijab increases sexual desire and making it a fashion icon with attitude only intensifies this process.
Our obsession with clothes represents our desire to gain control over others, commercially, culturally, politically or sexually.
The Naked Rambler challenges and mocks all these power games and so we have only one response - we imprison him.
