DIVORCE SHOULD BE AS READILY OBTAINABLE AS MARRIAGE

Divorce should be as readily obtainable as marriage. There is a gross trickery involved, not appreciated by the majority of marrying couples, that what they transact in minutes, can become a lifetime's curse and imprisonment. Reform is long overdue, to ensure that a marriage can be ended, at any time, by either party, with no reason given. Forcing the continuation of a loveless marriage damages the individuals concerned, any children of the relationship and society. It can be the means by which a controlling partner can continue to psychologically and emotionally abuse their spouse and prevent them being able to escape and find happiness. The stability of society is aided by crafting legislation that encourages mutual and life enhancing relationships.
Despite the number of divorcing couples being high, the obstacles that couples have faced are considerable:  the first year ban, satisfying the court that the marriage has broken down, resolving the intricate and delicate arrangements re the care of children and the distribution of assets, all reliant on the co-operation of the spouse, to expedite the process. The state of being married needs to be extricated from this morass and speedily and cleanly effected.

IN 1997, WHEN I WAS ARRESTED FOR NAILING MY PROPOSALS FOR REFORM OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ON THE DOOR OF CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL. WORDS ARE POWERFUL MESSAGES THAT CHALLENGE  CORRUPTION, CONFRONT THE WICKED AND CREATE A BETTER WORLD. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS ARE CALLED  TO COMMUNICATE HIS WORDS,  IRRESPECTIVE OF THE COST.
